Thankful Author 2019- Amy Craig

Social media trends can get a little silly, but Angela’s 30 Days of Thankful Authors brings a smile to my face and a warm glow to my heart!

This time of year gives me so many reasons to slow down and enjoy the warmth of family and friends. Whether you’ve got a crew of thirty headed to your home or are looking for a new companion (woof?), November’s cooler days can help you prepare for the steady blitz of December.

Figure 1: My black lab recue is twelve years old now, but still loves cold water! Here she is in 2008, a mere pup in upstate New York. I’ll have a lovely short story in Finally Home, a charity anthology benefitting animal rescue organizations. Look it on December 10 from Bienvenue Press: https://bienvenuepress.com/.

These days, I’m thankful for the curiosity of my children, piles of pine straw accumulating in my yard, and a chance to bake my favorite cold-weather recipes. I ran the “family picture” gauntlet on Sunday and even the hassle of getting tights on tiny toes reminded me to enjoy life’s seasons!

When you find a few minutes to yourself this holiday season, consider curling up with A Corporate Courtship: A Sweet Romance. Mayor Gloria has her hands full running Stonewall, but British executive Alexander helps her find her footing before the first snowfall.  Available in Kindle Unlimited or Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TY66L7H/

If you’re a bit of a snowbird, look for Sunset Dreams: A Sweet Romance on November 15. Mila loves helping senior citizens, but nothing has prepared her for the protective instincts of Blake, a local firefighter with roots in Biloxi who can’t seem to find his place. Available in Kindle Unlimited or Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z8CT3R6/
