Welcome Dani-Lyn, tell me three words that describe yourself starting with A, B, and C.
Active, busy and chatty.
What are your three favorite things?
Kids, chocolate and big dogs.
Music is a big influence on my writing. I have certain songs that
inspire each chapter, or the whole book. What helps to inspire you?
Role
playing with my three-year-old helps to inspire me. Kids have wonderful
imaginations. The monsters in one of my middle grade books are named for the
way my son said Lincoln Logs at the time.
What is the ultimate goal you have for your career?
I would love to
continue to write romance novels. I also enjoy writing children’s work and cozy
mysteries. I hope to build a following in all three of those genres.
When not writing, what can you be found doing?
I can usually be found
doing something with my kids. If it’s warm enough—anything over about fifty degrees—we
go to the beach and play on the playground. If not, we like to play cars, sword
fight, or play playdough.
