I count myself lucky to live in this time and in this
place. (Something tells me that even though I enjoy reading historicals, I’d be
a disaster living in any time prior to 1920 and I am thoroughly a New York
gal.)
I am truly fortunate to be in
good health. Without it, nothing else is possible. I wouldn’t be able to care
for those I love, do work I adore or enjoy this crazy, beautiful world.
I’m blessed by the circle friends and family who
are always there either in person or online. I count on their shared wisdom and
encouragement. I treasure the time we spend together laughing.
Included in these friends are
the readers who took a chance and read my debut romance. Thanks to all of you!
Book Two A Model Engagement, which is Lacey and Connor’s story, is coming soon!
But I’m most thankful for my
husband. He’s the definition of a Type A individual. He’s tough and he’s a
softie. He’s a man of tremendous generosity and integrity who loves our family
and me more than anything. We are each other’s rock and safe harbor.

job? Dreary apartment? Disastrous love life? Check, check, and check. Toddler
who makes it all worthwhile? Absolutely. Juggling work, college, and the care
of young Alex was never Sabrina's plan.
But
Sabrina's dreams are bigger than any curve ball life can throw at her. Her top
priority is keeping her small family together, no matter what the cost.
Vladimir
Grigory doesn't believe in dreams. He earned his position at the top of New
York's corporate ladder with his own sweat. His empire is his baby, and he'll
destroy anyone who threatens it. Even the sexy employee who challenges him on
every level.
When
the New York tabloids and the world call him the baby daddy of Sabrina's son,
Vlad believes Sabrina is part of a plot to expose the secrets of his past. He
threatens to destroy her future. But since Sabrina has secrets of her own, she
has no choice but to agree to Vlad's marriage ultimatum.

Author Bio:
Author Charlotte O’Shay was born in New York City into big family and then married into another big family, which provides her with enough drama, noise and inspiration for a lifetime of stories.
Negotiating skills honed at the dinner table led her to a career in the law. After four beautiful children joined the crowded family tree, Charlotte gladly traded her legal career to write about happily ever afters in the City of Dreams.
Charlotte loves to challenge her heroines and heroes with a crisis and watch them figure out who they are while they fall in love.

DeleteI am so with you on modern conveniences. I don't think I could live long ago.As a nurse not having modern medicine would be awful.Love your book cover.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much-glad you liked it!
DeleteI'm currently working on a story set in 1867. I agree, I couldn't live in the past. At my age, I'd probably be dead.
ReplyDeleteTraveling back in time is best via stories.
DeleteLoved first book and cannot wait for the second.

DeleteI write medieval stories, so I shudder at the thought of living in the time-period. Wonderful post, Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Medieval heroines are rock stars! I could never.
DeleteThank you all for your comments. I have been having the most difficult time replying individually. I have tried to comment on other author posts as well but it has been an exercise in frustration. If this keeps up I will contact the winner through Angela.
