November is upon us and for many authors, that means NaNoWriMo.
National Novel Writing Month!
It's where the brave, or stupid, depending on how you look at it, do their best to write a 50,000 words novel in 30 days!
To give you an idea of how hard that is, my short story, Got Love, was just over 17,000 words and took me nearly four months to write.
Granted, I do have a full time job and tweens that seem to think I'm supposed to clean house and feed them from time to time :) As you could guess, my time is limited. And what free time I do have, I usually prefer to spend napping or reading!
But this year I am determined to get much further than the measly 5,000 words I wrote last year.
I work best with accountability and have convinced my youngest to join me.
